It's been so fun having Chris home all day! We recently went to Shaw Beach at Jennings Randolph Lake. Despite the low temps and lack of sunshine the boys had a great time. Chris's highlights were the water snake that swam right between his legs and the black snake he caught as we were leaving. Unfortunately, black snakes emit an odor very similar to skunks so the whole car smelled and his hands were especially fragrant. There weren’t enough wet wipes and sanitizing spray in the world to ease my mind because, of course, he wanted the boys to touch the snake as well.

Ok, ewww on the snakes. Lake swimming is scary for me. And, B goes to Jennings Randolph Elementary School -- didn't know there was a lake, too. Dude must have been famous! :)
