Pretty disgusting looking, huh?! I was leery about even tasting them but then I thought, "What isn't good dipped in egg and bread crumbs and fried in butter? Besides, I've eaten worse!". I see why they are a delicacy in French cuisine. I'm not a mushroom girl but these were right up there with the best foods I've ever tasted! They are very tender with a mild flavor. And the boys absolutely devoured them!

WOW!! Morels?! Where did you manage to get those? Aren't they super expensive?
Yes they are quite expensive but we got them on the side of a hill. An experienced morel hunter took Chris and together they got probably several hundred dollars worth.
Ummm... they truly do look disgusting. I hate mushrooms but I would probably try these.
