Lunch

I got Garren hooked on peanut butter and raisin sandwiches. But, for every raisin that makes it to the sandwich three or more don't. Calvin seems to like it as well (but what won't he eat!).

Easter Egg Cookies

Garren picked out cookies for his latest chore chart. I took the lazy way and bought some pre-shaped easter egg cookies with do-it-yourself icing. He had a blast making cookies for everyone with "ice" on it.

Hairy No More

I had been encouraging Chris in his hair adventure but when he asked for a

haircut the other day I caved. It was becoming a bit too mulletesque.

Walk

I wish this weather would just make up it's mind already! Stop teasing me with 70 degree weather! This was us getting ready to walk to the dollar tree. Uncle Joe stopped by with his trusty camera.

Bat

Chris took Garren and Calvin to see a dead bat near our house. Gross!

Special Delivery

Garren was excited when a big rig dropped off our vault equipment (for Chris and his Dad's new business). Grandpa hoisted him up and Uncle Joe snapped some pictures.

Garren writes his name!

After church on Sunday Garren proudly brought me this picture. At first I had to ask him what he was writing and he said it spells Garren. I recognize the capital G because he trys to write that on his peanut butter sandwiches, but I had no idea that he could write any of the other letters of his name. I'm so proud of him! The G is at the top (it resembles a lower-case b because the picture makes it look like the lines connects) with a, r, r, e, and n underneath respectively. My favorite is his e!

New Haircut and Camera

Garren got his hair cut at Uncle Joe's Barber Shop for the first time the other day. He did pretty well holding still and even let Joe use the clippers (don't be jealous, mom). After the haircut, Joe let him pick out one of his antique cameras to take home. He's been having a blast taking all kinds of pictures around the house.
