Party Time

Much to everyone's disappointment (and to my great satisfaction), Calvin hated having his hands messy with frosting. It actually was hard to get a picture of him with frosting on his hands because he was screaming most of the time. He did enjoy his presents, though.

Table Manners

I love catching them playing together. Today they were having fun under the table (until they discovered I was trying to take their picture).

Happy Birthday Calvin!

Today is Calvins 1st birthday. I had my foot stopping the walker and as you can see he was less than thrilled that he couldn't move forward.

Chore Chart

Garren's chore chart has been a great success. This is his second one and he chose cookies and milk for his reward. He has to make his bed, clean up toys, and help with laundry. Hayden and Aunt Mandy came in for a few days and they helped us make the cookies.

Fall Colors

Here are the last of the fall colors, Cindy. Sorry that you missed it.

Fly Fishing

Here is Chris in his new fly-fishing gear. He is quite the outdoorsman.

New Toys

Garren has had a good time watching the frog and lizard grow. They started out only a few inches long and grew in the water over a couple of days.

Alive and Well

I haven't posted because I need to get new batteries for my camera. I forget every time I go to the store! Chris and I are excited about the fall season. The days are cooler, the trees are changing, I feel like baking apple crisp, and Chris's fishing season begins.
Garren is looking forward to Halloween. He helped me decorate the house. We have spider webs, pumpkins, ghosts, wiches, a fall floral display, a hatching spider nest and an electric jack-o-lantern (my favorite, thanks mom). He's having a hard time deciding what to be. Grandma Keckley bought some costumes for him for Christmas and he has a great time trying them on. He is deciding between Mickey Mouse, a wizard, a ninja, and a pirate. As soon as the leaves fall we will make a scarecrow.
Soon it will be Calvin's birthday, then Halloween, then Twilight the movie, then Thanksgiving, then Disney World, then Christmas! So much to look forward to.

I do have a picture that Uncle Joe took that I never posted.
