Will and Trust Kit

I am a huge Suze Orman fan. Recently, she gave a gift code to get her Will and Trust Kit for free. Go to suzeorman.com and on the left-hand side click Will and Trust Kit. Then on the right-hand side click gift code and put in People First. She and her lawyer explain everything and why you need it (so make sure your speakers are on and you have some time to go through it). She does suggest you get a lawyer to look it over when you're finished to make sure that it fits your needs.

Craig's Honeymoon Souvenir

Craig and Elizabeth brought home some fireworks from PA. It was supposed to be a smiley face but I couldn't see it. Craig said it was there, just upside down.

Easter Morning for Calvin

Maybe my Easter basket is in my favorite hiding place.

Yes, there it is!

Hey, Garren got one too!

I need a little more privacy for something this important!

Easter Morning for Garren

The carrot was half eaten, evidence that the Easter bunny had definitely come that night.
Now where is that Easter Basket? Nope, not under the pillow!

I still can't find it!

Oh, there it is!

Look at all this candy!

Easter Eggs

Garren and his cousins had a great time coloring Easter eggs. Garren wants me to say that he painted them when they were white. We took the little one's shirts off to avoid the obvious.

Springtime Surprise

Midst all the daffodils and dogwood blooms, spring decided that we shouldn't forget about winter just yet. Good ol' PC (that's Preston County for those of you who don't know) got 4 inches of snow last Thursday (some parts got 6!). Garren and Scott were excited because it was finally a packing snow so they threw plenty of snowballs at the front door. Rachel made a cute little snowman. Luckily, the snow didn't last long. By Saturday it was completely melted.

Fishing Expedition

While mom had the kids for the weekend, Chris wanted to take me to his favorite fishing spots in Barnum, WV. It was cool but we had a good time breathing the fresh air (especially since my allergies haven't hit yet). I won't embarrass him by telling how many fish he caught (okay, zero).

Fun with the Newell Family!

Since Pam has already done the work for me, just click on her link to the right that says "Fun with the Keckleys!" Am I getting lazy or what!

April Fools

For April Fools Day I made Garren a delicious dinner. Fish sticks (Twix smeared with peanut butter and rolled in crushed corn flakes), ketchup (strawberry jam with a little red food coloring) peas and carrots (balled up apple Airheads with chopped orange StarBursts), and mashed potatoes and gravy (vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce).

Lately, Garren has been playing the organ. Sometimes it sounds like a real song (granted, a song that should be in a haunted house, but a song nonetheless)!

Big Boy, Bigger Eater

Calvin wanted to sit in Garren's chair and eat his leftovers from dinner. He thought he was such a big boy sitting in that chair by himself. I didn't think he'd still be hungry because he'd just eaten his own dinner but then he also wanted some of Garren's food as well. And if that isn't evidence enough of what a good eater he his, today he ate an ENTIRE apple. And when I say entire I mean the entire apple, core and all!
