Halloween Treats

I got this idea from the internet. (Almond bark covered Nutter Butter cookies with mini-chocolate chips for eyes and mouths.) Garren, Calvin, and Chris "helped" me but they had more fun playing with and eating the mini-chocolate chips.

Happy Birthday C-Boy

Yesterday was Calvin's second birthday. Uncle Josh and Aunt Kayla came over to help us celebrate. Calvin really liked his presents (ignore the Christmas wrapping paper people, geesh!) and swirl brownies. Calvin is spirited but he also has a very sweet side. He always wants to share what he has with Garren (much like how Craig always wanted to share with me). For example, if I give Calvin a cookie then he asks for another one and then gives it to Garren. What a sweetheart!

Season Peak

I believe that we have reached the peak of the fall color season. The mountains are speckled with orange, red, yellow, and green. It is absolutely gorgeous! Here are some pics from the trees beside the creek that runs close to our house.
