First Day of Kindergarten

He was so excited to go to his first day of kindergarten.

Garren will be riding (or walking) with Chris in the morning. It's nice knowing that his Dad is just down the hall.

Garren will be riding the bus home from school. I'm glad he is the first stop and is only on the bus a minute or two.

Catching Crayfish

We took the boys down to the creek for one of Chris's favorite boyhood pasttimes, catching crayfish. Although I was a little squimish (ok, maybe more than a little), I did manage to catch one of the little buggers. Garren also caught one crayfish and Calvin enjoyed playing in the rocks and splashing in the water. Chris, of course, caught the most crayfish.

Happy 6th Birthday, Garren!!!

"Mario" seemed the obvious choice for the theme of Garren's 6th birthday party. There were so many cute ideas on the internet that it was hard to narrow it down. We had a great time surrounded by family, even Great Grandpa and Great Grandma were able to make it. Happy Birthday to the little boy who never ceases to amaze me or make me laugh.
